There are many situations in which a voice recorder can be useful. You may want to include your personal input in a presentation or a video montage, send a recorded message and so on. Regardless of your reasons, if you wish to record your voice, you can do it immediately, without any complications, with Sound Recorder Pro. It can store your recordings in MP3 or WAV format, with various output settings. The application's simple design makes it very easy to use, even for beginners.

Sound Recorder Pro is free to try for a limited period of time. It doesn't come with any locked functions, so you can properly test its capabilities. The software is compatible with all Windows versions, from the old and broken Windows 95 to the new and shiny Windows 8.

The compact user interface displays strictly what you need to record your voice and store it as an audio file. If a microphone is plugged into your computer, you just need to hit the Record option and start talking. The interface can be expanded, to reveal the necessary options for selecting a different recording device and changing one or more volume levels.

The output settings can be made on a separate window. You can decide to save your recordings in WAV of MP3 format, in mono, dual channel or stereo mode. You can also enable a noise reduction feature and make other configurations, on the same window.

Recordings are stored automatically in the software's installation folder, but you can select a different output path, on the main user interface. Additionally, when you stop recording, a small window will present options for copying the file to a folder of your choice or playing the recording right away, with your default player.
